PRICING
Read on below to find out how our pricing works and get an idea of how much your job might cost.
Our Hourly Rates
(All prices are plus GST)
Our standard rate is $115 per hour for an electrician and $75 per hour for an apprentice or labourer. This rate can be negotiated for jobs more than 8 hours depending on the length, size and complexity of the job. The minimum charge for a job up to 1 hour is $150 in order to cover travel time and costs, this can be adjusted for smaller jobs if we can book them in whilst we are already in the area.
We use high quality parts and equipment with relevant manufacturer warranties that are charged separately on top of our hourly rate, in some cases such as light fittings or specialised equipment we can install parts provided by the customer but these do need to comply with Australian Electrical Standards and warranty for these parts is the responsibility of the customer to chase up with their manufacturer or supplier.
Pricing will be discussed along with estimated time to complete the job before we attend your premises to quote or complete the required work.
Quoted Work
Some jobs may require a quote which we can usually do for free. Quotes can provide extra peace of mind so you know what you will be paying for the work you wish to have completed, quoted prices include all parts and labour costs. Please keep in mind that anything extra that you wish to be done on top of the quoted work will be charged as a variation on your invoice after the pricing has been discussed.
There are many factors that can influence the pricing of electrical work, check out some of our articles below that explain why in a bit more depth and even give you some tips on how you can reduce your costs.
